I am a 44 year old male that’s had trouble breathing through my nose for years. It finally got to the point where I needed to do something about it. Because a septoplasty with possible rhinoplasty corrections is what is required to resolve this kind of problem, I did not want just anyone doing this kind of procedure since there’s a real potential that it could change your appearance. Your face uniquely identifies you as a person, so I set out to find the best facial plastic surgeon in the SLC area with a solid track record. After doing my homework, I was confident Dr. John Bitner was the man for the job. My homework paid off! From my first appointment to my recent 6 weeks post operation visit, Dr. Bitner and his staff have been outstanding and professional every step of the way. Dr. Bitner has some of the best “bed side manors” I have seen and experienced. He’s an excellent surgeon, an artist, and a real person. He is easy to talk to and doesn’t just talk at you. He talks with you by listening to everything you have to say. As part of my deviated septum repair, Dr. Bitner had to reshape some of the functional parts of my nose that would change its overall look. He spent more time with me than I expected using high tech imaging and computer simulations to show me how my nose would look. I left feeling very confident and assured Dr. Bitner had a very thorough game plan and understanding of what needed to happen in order to maximize the procedures outcome. It’s been 6 weeks post operation and functionally I can breathe 100% better than before. It’s a night and day difference. Cosmetically, Dr. Bitner exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier with the outcome. In short, I highly recommend Dr. John Bitner, not only for a septo/rhinoplasty procedure, but for any care he offers. After having this experience with him and his staff, I consider Dr. Bitner one of the finest care givers, doctors, surgeons, artists, and people I know. I trust him completely.
